Learn the technique.
Master the next step.

A random manual starts a learning route. Mastery can open a different technique. They are not the same unlock.

Your training route

01

Find a manual

The upstream item guide lists loot chests and dwarf trainer trades. See the Battlewill Manual reference; actual availability depends on server loot and trading settings.

02

Learn its result

The tracked random pool contains 16 core techniques. A random manual cannot target a specific result and can be consumed without granting a new ability. Bound manuals use their stored technique instead.

03

Train toward mastery

Equip the learned technique through the character menu, use its documented controls, and track its learning and mastery separately. A successor enters learning through its predecessor’s mastery hook.

Verified mastery paths

These six connections are checked against Tensura 2.0.1.2. Mastery must occur on your own skill instance, not a borrowed sub-instance. The successor starts through the skill-learning system; it is not already mastered.

What a random manual can teach

The following list comes from the tracked battlewillManualList, not from every registered Battlewill. Loot tables and server overrides can change access without changing this documented pool.

Five Petals Thrust: access is not verified

Five Petals Thrust is registered, but is absent from the random manual pool and has no verified player acquisition route in this review. Its mastery-to-Eight Petals connection is verified; that does not explain how to obtain Five Petals first.

Before using another manual

  • Check whether you already know the result. Consumption does not guarantee a new ability.
  • A configured random pool is not a starting-race roll or a list of every skill-book reward.
  • Read the technique’s active controls and resource cost before training it.
  • Keep learning progress distinct from mastery progress.
