World Generation¶
TSR keeps imported Tensura world documentation distinct from the pack's broader terrain and structure policy.
Tensura world content¶
The local reference includes every maintained upstream article currently documented for biomes, structures, mobs, and bosses. Those pages retain upstream version context and do not imply that every historical entry has been runtime-verified in TSR.
Terratonic foundation¶
Playable startup verified · gameplay under validation
The required Version 1 Beta terrain target combines Terralith and Tectonic, with Lithostitched where required by their exact artifacts. TSR refers to this pairing as its Terratonic foundation.
The assembled profile has passed clean-world startup, save, shutdown, and warm restart. Extended exploration, representative biome coverage, density profiling, and the complete structure interaction matrix remain Under Validation.
Curated structure suite¶
The active source profile includes four YUNG's replacements—Better Dungeons, Better Mineshafts, Better Strongholds, and Better Nether Fortresses—plus Repurposed Structures, Sparse Structures, and When Dungeons Arise. They appear together in the wiki because they share one exploration and density policy.
These additions are installed, but none is described as Tensura-integrated merely because it can generate in the same world. When Dungeons Arise remains the highest-density candidate and needs the closest generation-cost and collision review.
Structure policy¶
TSR intentionally limits structure density. Additions are evaluated for:
- clean generation on Terralith and Tectonic terrain,
- clipping and collision behavior,
- distinct gameplay purpose,
- exploration pacing,
- chunk-generation cost,
- multiplayer reliability,
- restart and persistence behavior.
General structure content may enter the candidate process without a Tensura bridge, but boss or progression integrations must be explicit before they are described as Tensura-aware.
Validation gates¶
- new-world creation and clean shutdown,
- saved-world restart,
- representative
/locateand biome checks, - new-chunk exploration,
- Tensura structure and Labyrinth generation,
- portal and return-path behavior for retained dimensions,
- collision and density review,
- server generation profiling before pregeneration.
Chunky pregeneration begins only after the terrain and retained structure set are frozen.
