The Labyrinth Tree
Utility
The labyrinth tree is used to enter the Labyrinth
To enter the labyrinth one must need 8000 EP, because else they will die to magic poisoning inside the magic labyrinth and basically will get kicked out (does not take away EP)
You will also regen magicules faster while being inside the Labyrinth
Locating
A Labyrinth Explorer Map can be acquired from a master level Cartographer Dwarf, which leads towards a nearby Labyrinth Tree.
The Labyrinth (dimension)
Upon entry of the labyrinth one will face a big hallway, with a stair going upwards leading to the Elemental Colossus spawn platform.
You CANNOT avoid the colossus and go behind it to get a spirit, a barrier will stop you
There are 2 outcomes once you face the colossus, each giving you the option to enter the labyrinth.
Outcome 1: Death
Once you die to the Elemental Colossus you will get the advancement "Chill, its just a test" which will teleport you beyond the barrier, which will still allow you to get spirits.
Outcome 2: Victory
Once you win against the Elemental Colossus you will get the advancement "The fairy wont be happy with this", upon it's death (If the gamerule respawncolossus isnt active) will grant you a pure magisteel block. This can be used to respawn the colossus by dropping the block in the middle of the arena.
When the respawncolossus gamerule is active, this is not the case. You will NOT get a pure magisteel block for killing the colossus.
Obtaining spirits
After defeating (or dying to) the Elemental Colossus, one can go to the direction of the stairs leading upwards to the Praying platform and sneak on the Praying Path for 20 seconds for a chance to get a Spirit.
Once they either succeed or fail to get a Spirit, they will have a 20 minute cooldown on praying, after the cooldown runs out, they can pray again, if players pray while they’re still on cooldown, they will get teleported to the entrance.
- 40% chance for a Lesser Elemental.
- 20% chance for a Medium Elemental.
- 10% chance for a Greater Elemental.
- 1% chance for an Elemental Lord if the player already has a Medium or Greater spirit of the Element.
Some races have higher chance to obtain certain Elementals
100% Chance on Lesser, x2 chance on Medium & Greater
Spirit tiers
Lesser
These spirits have low magical power, thus only giving you only manipulation (which you need to learn) and their lesser spell.
Medium
These spirits have better magic than lesser, giving you multiple spells and giving you the manipulation (which you need to learn).
These can also be summoned using the Summon Medium Elemental skill.
Greater
These are close to the strongest spirits which give you all the respective skills. This spirit type is also needed to unlock the True Hero awakening.
These again can be summoned using Summon Greater Elemental
Lord
This is the strongest spirit, as of now it is equal to greater spirit. You will not get anything extra, however this type of spirit is very rare to get.
If one gains a lord or greater, they will also have the respective benefits of the lesser and medium.
(aka it goes: Lord (has all benefits of all other SAME ELEMENT spirits) -> Greater -> Medium -> Lesser (has only lesser spells and manipulation)
