At a glance
EP (short for Evolution Points ) is a rough indicator of how strong a Mob, Player, or Item is. Both you and certain items — such as Monster Leather and Magic Steel gear — can evolve once they accumulate enough EP (see [ Evolution ]).

Gaining EP
The primary way to gain EP is by killing mobs. The stronger the mob, the more EP you receive. Without any special skills (such as Gourmand), you gain 3% of the mob's EP per kill.
However, the EP gained is reduced if the mob is significantly weaker than you. The larger the EP gap in your favor, the smaller the reward down to a maximum reduction of -90% of the mob's EP.
Death Penalty
Dying causes you to lose 5% of your current EP, along with a reduction to your Magicule and Aura.
EP and Stat Growth
Gaining EP also increases your Max Magicule and Max Aura. The split depends on your race:
- Majin: 2/3 Magicule, 1/3 Aura
- Non-Majin: 2/3 Aura, 1/3 Magicule
Magicule
Your Magicule Regeneration rate is fixed by default, but it can be increased through the following means:
- Equipping armor with the Magicule Absorption engraving
- Being in certain Dimensions or Biomes
Magicule-Boosting Locations
Dimensions:
- Hell
- Labyrinth
Biomes:
Restoring Magicule to Full
Aside from natural regeneration, there are several ways to instantly restore your Magicule to 100%:
- Consuming a Magic Crystal using Absorb & Dissolve / Predator (Isolation Sub-skill)
- Activating Beast Transformation
- Dying technically restores Magicule, but not recommended due to the EP loss

In Tensura: Sovereign Rebirth¶
Under Validation
TSR keeps EP, Magicules, and Aura as base Tensura resources. The installed Iron's Spells bridge is the pack's explicit external magic integration; exact balance and progression claims remain pending integrated gameplay validation.
