At a glance

Some items are eligible for evolution, that being Monster Leather, and Magisteel by default.

Any gear can progress to the highest tier, although it might take a lot of grinding to get that far. To evolve this gear, simply use the item/wear it while killing creatures, and a small amount of EP will be added to the gear’s maximum. Once the gear’s EP gets over certain thresholds it’ll evolve. Those thresholds are:

MONSTER LEATHER

D -> C (2.5k EP) -> B (5k EP) -> A (8k EP) -> Special A (80k EP)

MAGISTEEL

Low -> High (18k EP) -> Pure (52k EP) -> Adamantite (225k EP) -> Hihi’irokane (750k EP)
Mithril -> Adamantite (225k EP) -> Hihi'irokane (750k EP)
Orichalcum -> Hihi’irokane (750k EP)
