How to obtain

Server build match pending. Reference: Nightmares 1.0.3.2.8-neoforge-1.21.1.

Version and source limits

This skill is registered in the reference release. The installed version and server configuration have not yet been matched. The acquisition review below checks reference-build conditions separately. Other usage details describe the cited wiki revision, not verified server behavior.

Reviewed reference-build automatic route: Gluttony + Merciless → Beelzebuth. Both predecessor skills are required; neither is an independent unlock.

01

Master both predecessors

Fully learn and master your own non-temporary Gluttony and Merciless. Having only one of them does not satisfy this route.

02

Build the recorded counters

Reference defaults: at least 1,500 recorded mob kills and 10 recorded cake slices eaten. The cake gate is a statistic, not a number of whole cakes or cakes held in inventory.

03

Meet capacity and current health

Selected capacity default: 1,500,000 maximum Magicules. Current health must be at or below 50% of maximum health; rules and learning gates must also allow the route. Taking damage does not guarantee evolution.

Before evolving: the inspected helper removes both Gluttony and Merciless after successful learning. Complete learning charges, live eligibility, and effective server settings remain unverified.

Why the reviewed capacity differs from the source

The source lists 1,750,000 MP. In the inspected automatic path, the completion helper calls getDefaultAcquiringMagiculeCost(), which reads Beelzebuth.mpAcquirement with a default of 1,500,000. The separate beelzebuthMP field defaults to 1,750,000 but is not read by this selected capacity path. This does not establish every alternate route or server override.

The helper compares maximum Magicules with a 0.000001 tolerance. Current MP and total EP are not that capacity check; the comparison alone does not establish all final learning charges.

Cake, health, and inherited learning checks

The condition list checks Stats.MOB_KILLS, Stats.EAT_CAKE_SLICE, mastery of both predecessors, and the health ratio. The cake predicate requires a ServerPlayer, accepts the configured minimum, and reads zero if statistic access fails. Inventory, dropped cakes, and placed-but-uneaten cakes do not replace the recorded slice count.

The health check requires positive maximum health and accepts getHealth() / getMaxHealth() <= beelzebuthHPThreshold, whose default is 0.5. The selected inherited learning check also rejects spectators, Rest, Infinite Imprisonment, forced sleeping, Bats Mode, and Shadow Step. This review does not test live statistic updates or all interacting add-ons.

Settings, replacement, and the separate Raphael claim

The automatic route requires nightmare_ultimates, auto_evolve, and enableUltimateEvolution. The gamerules default to false; the skill setting defaults to true. Review the gamerules. Already owning Beelzebuth blocks the selected acquisition. Despite its name, the inspected hasEvolved helper only checks current skill ownership; it does not establish a permanent evolution-history lock.

The completion helper rejects imprinted predecessor tags and forgets both predecessor skills after successful learning. The source also describes alteration with mastered Raphael, Gluttony, and Merciless. That separate alteration implementation is not reviewed here and is not combined with the automatic conditions or presented as a verified unlock.

Usage

Passive

  • [Passive, In Slot] Soul Devour: Applies a debuff to the player's attacks that drains the afflicted mob/player's spiritual health at 20 per 10 ticks (this drain lasts 5s). Costs 100 MP for each attack by user [required to be in active skill slots]

Active

  • [Active, Hold] Predation: On use, creates a black mist (breath) up to a 15 block (shifting and using the ability will change the block consumption between only blocks, liquids or both, slideable range with scroll mouse. Max 30 with mastery) radius in front of the player If it comes into contact with a mob, deals 150 damage, applies Soul Corrosion for 15 seconds, and drains 1000 MP, with a 30% chance to gain 1-3 random Intrinsic, Common, Extra, or Resists skill/s from the target. If an enemy is killed by Predation, gains all of their Intrinsic, Common, Extra and Resists skills. With Mastery, if a Magic projectile is eaten, then the player gains that magic . For the first time killing a type of mob, targets killed have 80% of their ep added to the players max instead of the usual 3%. This can be toggled to consume blocks using shift + ability key while on the predation mode, which will automatically be added to Imaginary Storage.
  • [Active, Hold] Gluttonous Darkness (Requires Mastery): On use, instead produce a black hole in front of the user of ranging sizes (3x3 - 5x5 - 8x8). This functions like Predation but can pull mobs towards it. This ability instantly kills anything with less than 5% of your EP. This skill does 50 Damage and 50 Spiritual Damage. While the black hole is deployed the user is essentially immune to all projectiles. The damage of Gluttonous Darkness scales based off the user's Souls, to a maximum of 200. When Mastered this will inflict the user with Soul Rot which makes them unable to heal their Spiritual Health.
  • [Active, Press] Imaginary Space: When activated, grants access to a spatial storage with the size of a chest with 18 rows. Items are able to be stacked to 666 instead of 64.
  • [Active, Press] Mimicry: When used, the user opens the Mimicry Menu and can alter themselves to temporarily become any race they've killed. This gives them the stats of the race for the period of time that Mimicry is in use.
  • [Active, Hold] Corrosion: Costs 500 MP and deals 50 Corrosion damage every 10 ticks to all enemies in a 12x12 radius. Enemies killed by this have their Resists, Intrinsic, Common, and Extra Skills taken by the player.
  • [Active, Hold] Soul Steal: Instantly kills all mobs within a 60x60 radius that are below 15% HP, have an EP below 15% of the users maximum, or have at least a lvl 4 Fear debuff. Costs 100 MP
  • [Active, Press] Food Chain: When used normally, the Skill Menu opens allowing you to learn any skill from a Subordinate. (You can enable this to allow the learning of Uniques or Ultimates in the TRNightmareUltimateConfig). When shifted and used, it instead allows you to teach your Subordinate any of your skills. (Same configuration logic. You can config both what is allowed, or full disable them)
