For the item drop from Charybdis, see Inert Charybdis Core

The egg-like core used to summon Charybdis.

Obtainment

Harvested like any other block.

Location

Found inside the Core room of a Charybdis Cave.

Usage

Place within 16 blocks of a mob (works through walls).

If a mob is killed within this range it will charge the core with EP.

If the core is charged with 100,000 EP it will become active.

Mobs killed in this way will not increase the player's EP or drop Exp orbs.

The Unique Skill Degenerate's Synthesize subskill can consume Charybdis Cores, granting EP depending on its state:

  • Inactive Core: Grants EP equal to the amount stored in the core.
  • Active Core: Grants 100,000 EP.
  • Inert Core: Grants 200,000 EP.

Right-clicking with an Active Charybdis Core will summon the boss Charybdis.

Once Charybdis is defeated, its core will fall to the ground as an Inert Charybdis Core.

The Inert Charybdis Core can be consumed with Degenerate's Synthesize subskill or used to obtain the skills:
